Ashtanga Yoga
Online @ Alternative Movement StudioEvery 2 weeks on Wednesday's (alternates with Yin)08:45 - 09:30 GMTJoin in for a wonderful 45 minute class, based on the Ashtanga primary series postures. As we get moving, we flow standing, seated and finishing postures. The movement is combined with the breath, to create focus and quiet the busy brain!
This is suitable for all levels, but best if you have a good level of fitness and mobility. Options will be given that allow you to curate your practice to your preference. The familiarity with the sequence builds over time, allowing the mind to take a back-seat and letting the body move in an energising way.

Rock and Relax Yoga
OnlineWeekly on Tuesday's18:00 - 19:00 GMT1-hour moderately gentle class, with a fun rock / goth / metal / alt music playlist to help us flow through the sequence. This class is suitable for beginners as well as improvers. The first 30 mins of class is a flow through different postures, and the second half of class slows down, holding yin yoga postures for 2-4 mins each, giving you opportunity to slow down your body, and unwind your mind, whilst enjoying the tunes.

Lush Yin Yoga
Online @ Alternative Movement StudioEvery 2 weeks on Wednesday's (alternates with Ashtanga)09:30 - 10:15 GMTYin targets deep tissues, fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones via meditative, extended-held poses.
This practice shows us how to be immersed in stillness and use anchors to focus the mind.
Slow and focused, Yin helps balance out all the speedy fast Yang in your life, as you recentre yourself in gentle posture holds of 2-4 mins, while gently unwinding mind, body and soul.
This form of yoga is calm and introspective, while offering a different sequence of postures to work different body areas, energy meridians and sensations - working on the outside as well as working on the inside!
